Accessibility pass: better focus, better contrast
We spent a week playing the entire site with a keyboard only, then with a screen reader. It was humbling, and it produced a long fix list.
Focus outlines are clearer now, buttons announce themselves properly, and colour contrast got tightened in a few dim corners.
Accessibility is never finished, but this pass moved things meaningfully forward.
One thing we will keep repeating, because it matters: the points here are make-believe. They exist to give a round some shape and a session some momentum, nothing more. If you ever find play stops feeling light, the responsible gaming page lists organisations that are genuinely worth talking to.
Technically-minded readers may like to know the site remains plain, hand-built pages — no frameworks, no build pipeline, nothing clever. That is partly taste and partly stubbornness, but it keeps everything fast and easy to fix when something squeaks.
